HAPPY HALLOWEEN: Greetings from your group moderators: Lalita, Jack, Diane, Mike, and Nora. We couldn't think of a better time to get in touch and let you know the progress we have been making toward recreating our Dark Shadows group and making it faster and better than ever before. You probably remember us as Steadfast Dark Shadows, and before that, SciFi Dark Shadows. Well, since our Steadfast group was deleted by Yahoo without notice or provocation, we have been working to save posts, photographs, and other group items. Now we are beginning to integrate them into a new group along with Mike's narratives, Friday night chats, and everything else that made our Dark Shadows net-community meaningful to us all. We researched group names for months and compiled a list of some 500 which we eventually pared down to ten then, after a lively debate, picked a gem that seems so obvious it belies our difficulties...

Like Barnabas, and Angelique, and Collinwood, and the show Dark Shadows itself, our group is Immortal and is rising like Laura the Phoenix from Steadfast's ashes. Our moderated Dark Shadows chat is up and running every Friday night from 7:00 to 11:00 PM EST. Please come and join us to chat about our favorite show and other topics as they strike our fancy.
